The Nottingham Group was awarded a contract with a local county government to provide forensic accounting and fraud investigation services to its Agency for the Aging. The Nottingham Group will provide fraud investigation and analytical services to the agency in their investigation of financial crimes against the elderly.

Karl Jarek testified in Federal court in the case of Crown Coal and Coke Co. v. Compass Point Resources and assisted Crown Coal in obtaining a two million dollar jury verdict. Diane Matthews, who has been the long time dean of the accounting School at Carlow and who is responsible for implementing a forensic accounting major at the school has taken a sabbatical from her work at Carlow to gain some "hands on" forensic accounting experience. To accomplish this goal, Diane is splitting her time between the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office White Collar Crime Unit and The Nottingham Group, LLC.
